Universities are responsible for education of Vocational School teachers and decision makers in the field of vocational training. In order to better cope with this responsibility, they use the Program Leonardo da Vinci II of the European Commission. In international networks of universities and vocational training institutions projects are realized, which would in this form not be possible for universities or national institutions alone.
Funding of Leonardo da Vinci projects is restricted to institutions in the EU Member States, the states of EFTA/EEA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and the associated countries (Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey).
